RG6 Compression Connectors

This 5-pack of Belden SNSD6 Snap-N-Seal connectors is built for RG6 coaxial cable terminations. The true 360° compression design delivers reliable electrical performance for professional installers and home users running cable or satellite lines.

Installers needing DIRECTV-approved parts

These connectors carry DIRECTV approval and a 3GHz rating, suiting technicians who must meet those specifications. They are not for jobs requiring a different cable size, a different connector interface, or a connector without the SignalTight loose-connection protection.

3GHz DIRECTV-approved rating

The 3.1 DOCSIS compatibility and DIRECTV-approved 3GHz rating are the decisive specifications. If the installation demands that exact rating, this pack fits; if the spec calls for a different frequency limit or approval, another connector is required.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the connector is working correctly after compression?

A proper 360 compression creates a continuous ground path; verify with a cable tester that signal levels meet the 3.1 GHz rating and show no QAM errors or packet loss.

What comes in the pack and what else is required?

The pack contains five SNSD6 compression connectors; you must supply RG-6 coaxial cable and a compatible compression tool to complete each termination.

Which version should I choose for DIRECTV or DOCSIS 3.1 installations?

The SNSD6 model is DIRECTV approved and rated to 3.1 GHz, making it the correct choice for both satellite and DOCSIS 3.1 networks.
