Product purpose and audience

This Belkin AOYV01 docking station adds two HDMI ports, a USB 3.0 port and 100W power delivery through a single USB-C connection. It is built for professionals who need dual 4K@60Hz monitors, fast data transfer and laptop charging from one compact hub.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Windows users with Thunderbolt 3 or 4, or USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports that support DisplayPort Alt Mode, can run extended desktops across two screens. Mac users are limited to mirror mode only because of macOS restrictions. Buyers whose laptops lack video output over USB-C cannot use the HDMI ports at all.

Installation experience and common pitfalls

The adapter is plug-and-play with no driver installation required. To reach 4K@60Hz on both monitors, the host must support DP1.4, both displays and cables must be 4K@60Hz capable, and Windows display settings must be set to extended mode. DP1.2 hosts are limited to 4K@30Hz in dual-monitor use.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a specific USB-C port to run the dual 4K@60Hz HDMI outputs?

Yes, the laptop USB-C port must support video output via Thunderbolt 3/4 or DisplayPort Alt Mode; check your device specifications to confirm.

Will my existing HDMI cables work with the dual 4K@60Hz ports?

Your HDMI cables must each support 4K@60Hz bandwidth; older cables limited to 4K@30Hz or 1080p will restrict the maximum resolution.

How can I confirm both external monitors are running at 4K@60Hz after connecting the dock?

On Windows, open Display Settings and verify each external monitor shows 4K@60Hz; on macOS, open System Settings > Displays and check the refresh rate listed for each screen.
