Wired Lightning Keyboard for iPad

This Belkin B2B124 keyboard connects directly to an iPad through a Lightning cable. It is built for users who want a physical keyboard without pairing steps or battery charging. Apple MFi certification confirms compatibility with supported iPad and Mac models. The 1.5 ft cable keeps the unit tethered during use.

Suited to fixed workstations not mobile typing

The wired link suits desks, classrooms and kiosks where the iPad stays in one place. Full-size keys and multimedia controls support long writing sessions. Buyers who need to type while moving around the room or at a distance from the device should consider a wireless alternative. No mouse is included in the package.

Lightning host interface decides fit

The keyboard only works with hosts that provide a Lightning port and support external keyboards. If the target iPad uses USB-C or relies solely on Bluetooth, this model will not connect. The 12.20 in width and .90 in height match a standard desktop footprint. No additional software or drivers are required.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the Lightning version or a Bluetooth model for my iPad?

This B2B124 uses a wired Lightning connector, so it draws power directly from the iPad and requires no separate charging or pairing.

How does the 1.5 ft cable length work at a desk?

The included 1.5 ft Lightning cable keeps the keyboard close to the tablet, which suits fixed setups but limits distance from the device.

What does the Lightning host interface cap in practice?

The Lightning connection limits use to iOS devices and Macs with Lightning ports, and the 1.5 ft cable fixes the maximum working range.
