Central Hub for Multi-Display Workflows

The Belkin Connect Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock acts as a single-cable command centre for laptops, delivering 12 ports that include Thunderbolt, HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet and an SD reader. It supplies up to 90W Power Delivery to keep the host machine charged while driving peripherals. The bundled Boost U speaker adds wireless audio with a built-in microphone for calls and a remote shutter for mobile capture.

Display Capacity and Power Headroom

A single external monitor can run at 8K (7680 x 4320) while dual monitors operate at 4K (3840 x 2160), with support for up to three screens in total. The 90W charging budget covers most ultraportables and mainstream notebooks, though laptops demanding higher wattage for heavy GPU loads will need their own adapter. The speaker’s 600 mAh cell provides roughly five hours of playback before requiring a recharge.

Thunderbolt Bandwidth and Speaker Constraints

Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth governs how many high-resolution streams and data lanes share the link, so driving three displays plus storage and networking simultaneously may reduce available throughput for each. The Boost U speaker pairs only via Bluetooth and charges over Micro-USB, limiting its use to wireless scenarios and slower top-ups compared to modern USB-C audio devices.
