What it is

The Belkin SEUC0703 is a USB-C to dual HDMI adapter that connects one Thunderbolt 3 or full-featured USB-C port to two external displays. It delivers up to 4K at 60 Hz on a single monitor and 4K at 30 Hz across both screens. The unit includes one USB 2.0 port and requires no driver installation.

Who it suits

Windows users with Thunderbolt 3, 4 or 5 ports who need two extended 4K displays will benefit. Mac owners should note that macOS only supports mirror mode, so the second screen duplicates the first. Devices lacking Thunderbolt or full-featured USB-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode cannot use this adapter.

Build fit

The adapter draws power from the host port, leaving your laptop’s other sockets free for peripherals. Its compact 2.4 ounce body fits beside a keyboard or in a sleeve. You supply your own HDMI 2.0 cables to reach the monitors, and the single USB 2.0 port can host a mouse, keyboard or flash drive.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a Thunderbolt 3 or full-featured USB-C port for the SEUC0703 to work?

Yes, the adapter only operates with Thunderbolt 3/4/5, USB4 or full-function USB-C ports that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode; standard USB-C data ports will not drive the dual HDMI outputs.

Will the adapter run two different 4K 60 Hz monitors from my 2019 MacBook Pro?

On macOS the SEUC0703 is limited to mirror mode, so both external displays show the same image; Windows supports extended desktops with each HDMI port at 3840×2160 30 Hz or a single 4K 60 Hz stream.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering 4K 60 Hz to my monitor after plugging it in?

Check the display settings on your OS — the resolution should read 3840×2160 at 60 Hz for a single screen, or 3840×2160 at 30 Hz per screen when both HDMI ports are used.
