Kitchen countertop can opener

The BELLA 17231 is an automatic electric can opener designed for home cooks who want hands-free operation. A 60-watt motor drives a stainless steel cutting blade that handles cans from small tuna tins up to large tomato jars. The unit weighs 0.889 kilograms and measures 7.87 inches high by 4.52 inches wide and deep.

Build integration and storage

The opener sits directly on a worktop and plugs into a standard mains outlet with no batteries required. Integrated cord storage keeps the cable tidy when the appliance is not in use, while the compact footprint of 4.52 by 4.52 inches leaves room for other prep tools. A removable cutting lever lifts off for quick access to the blade area.

Capacity and headroom

The stainless steel blade and magnetic lid holder manage a wide range of diameters, but very tall or oddly shaped containers may not engage the auto-turn mechanism. The 60-watt motor provides steady torque for typical household cans, though extremely heavy commercial tins could stall the drive. Hand-wash only cleaning limits dishwasher convenience.
