Questions about this item

Does the BenQ MP622C DMD chip run hot or draw extra power when the projector is on all day?

The chip is a passive optical component; it adds no heat or power draw beyond the projector's normal lamp and cooling system.

What existing projector parts must I already own for this DMD chip to work?

You need a compatible BenQ MP622C projector with a functioning light engine, colour wheel and main board to install the chip.

Will this DMD chip work if I keep my older MP622C main board and colour wheel?

Yes, the chip is an OEM replacement designed for the MP622C light engine, so it works with the original main board and colour wheel.
