Genuine DMD chip for BenQ MX525

This genuine OEM DMD chip is designed specifically for the BenQ MX525 projector. It serves as a direct replacement for a failed or degraded digital micromirror device. The component restores the projector's ability to produce a sharp, stable picture.

Tested to eliminate dead pixels

Each unit undergoes extensive testing at least three times before dispatch. This process verifies that the chip projects a clear image completely free of dead pixels. The rigorous validation reduces the risk of installing a defective component.

30-day warranty period included

The accessory comes with a 30-day warranty covering the replacement chip. Buyers needing longer protection or a full projector service kit should look elsewhere. This part addresses only the DMD component itself.

Questions about this item

Will the DMD chip in the MX525 need periodic cleaning or scheduled replacement?

The chip is a sealed solid-state component with no moving parts, so it does not require routine cleaning or planned replacement under normal operation.

What is the first limit reached when the projector runs continuously for many hours?

The optical engine will hit its thermal ceiling before the DMD chip itself degrades, so sustained brightness stability is the practical limit.

Does the replacement chip change fan noise, heat output or power draw compared with the original?

It is an identical OEM part, so acoustic profile, operating temperature and power consumption remain exactly as the projector was designed.
