Genuine DMD chip for BenQ PB6100

This is a replacement DMD/DLP imaging component manufactured for the BenQ PB6100 projector. It restores the light-modulation function that produces the projected picture. The part is supplied new and has passed at least three factory test cycles to confirm zero dead pixels.

Upgrades a failed or degraded imager

Install this chip when the original DMD develops stuck mirrors, colour decay or permanent pixel defects that cleaning cannot fix. The jump is worth it when the projector optics and electronics remain sound but the image shows artefacts that originate on the imager itself.

Fits inside the existing optical block

The component seats directly into the PB6100 light engine without adapter boards or firmware changes. It requires standard disassembly tools and anti-static precautions. Replacing only the imager preserves the original lamp, colour wheel and lens assembly, keeping the rest of the optical path unchanged.
