Built for video editing

The BenQ VideoVue PV3200U is a 32" 4K monitor aimed at editors who need reliable colour from timeline to upload. It covers 100% sRGB, 100% Rec.709 and 95% P3 so the grades you approve match what viewers see. Factory calibration at Delta E<=2 means work can start without a separate profiling step. It is not for buyers who want more storage or internal capture hardware.

Interface limits at 60 Hz

HDMI 2.0 and USB-C with 65 W power delivery drive the 3840 x 2160 panel at 60 Hz, so 4K playback stays smooth but higher frame rates are not supported. Peak brightness reaches 400 nits for HDR10 highlights while typical output sits at 350 nits. The 1000:1 contrast ratio and 5 ms response are fixed by the IPS panel architecture. It is not for builders who need a second card or faster refresh for competitive gaming.

Simple desk setup with puck control

The monitor arrives assembled; attach the stand, connect HDMI or USB-C, and the Wireless Hotkey Puck lets you swap colour modes with one tap. iDevice Color Sync previews iPhone and iPad output before export. No driver install is required for basic operation. It is not for users who expect built-in calibration sensors or network-based colour management.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32 inch model or a smaller size for video editing?

The PV3200U is offered as a 31.5 inch 4K display with 100 percent sRGB and 95 percent DCI-P3 coverage, giving a large canvas for timeline work and accurate colour grading.

How does the 400 nit peak brightness look when I am grading HDR footage?

The panel reaches 400 nits peak in HDR mode with a 1000:1 static contrast ratio and HDR10 support, so highlights in graded content appear brighter while shadows retain detail.

What does the USB-C 65W port actually carry on this monitor?

The USB-C connection delivers up to 65 watts of power while transmitting 4K 60 Hz video and data over a single cable, letting you drive the display and charge a compatible laptop simultaneously.
