24.1" TN Panel at 280 Hz

This refurbished BenQ Zowie XL2540X+ is a 24.1 inch gaming monitor built around a Full HD TN panel that reaches 280 Hz. It targets competitive players who value motion clarity and low latency above colour volume. The 1 ms response time and 320 cd/m2 brightness support fast-paced shooters and esports titles. Height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustment plus the bundled S Switch and shielding hood complete the package.

Competitive players seeking speed

The 16.7 million colour count and 1000:1 contrast ratio suit high-frame-rate gaming but fall short for colour-critical creative work or HDR media consumption. The TN panel's viewing angles are listed at 178° horizontally and vertically, yet off-axis colour shift remains typical of the technology. Buyers who want deeper blacks, wider gamut coverage or built-in speakers should look at something else.

280 Hz refresh rate decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this monitor fits a system is its 280 Hz maximum refresh rate at 1920 x 1080 over DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0. A graphics card and cable combination that cannot sustain that rate at native resolution will not unlock the panel's intended advantage. Verify GPU output capability before purchase.
