Esports 280 Hz TN monitor

The BenQ Zowie XL2546X+ is a 24.1 inch Fast TN display built for competitive first-person shooters. Its 280 Hz refresh rate and DyAc 2 motion clarity reduce blur on moving targets. The panel targets players who value response speed over wide viewing angles or high pixel density.

1080p resolution and 280 Hz headroom

At 1920 x 1080 the monitor drives high frame rates without stressing modern graphics cards. The Fast TN panel keeps overshoot low during rapid motion, but colour volume and contrast fall short of IPS or VA alternatives. Buyers who need deeper blacks or wider gamut coverage should look elsewhere.

Sub-65 W draw with industrial stand

Typical power draw stays below 65 W across the 100 to 240 VAC range. The height-adjustable stand offers 155 mm travel, -5 to 35 degree tilt and 45 degree swivel each way. No active cooling is present, so operation remains silent during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Will the 1920 x 1080 resolution and HDMI 2.0 ports work with my older GPU?

Yes, the three HDMI 2.0 inputs and the DisplayPort 1.2 connection both carry 1920 x 1080 at 280 Hz, so any GPU with those interfaces can drive the panel at its native resolution and full refresh rate.

How can I verify DyAc 2 is actually reducing motion blur after I set it up?

Enable DyAc 2 in the OSD, then run a high-contrast moving test pattern — such as the UFO Test at 280 Hz — and you should see noticeably sharper trailing edges compared to the same pattern with DyAc 2 turned off.

Does the box include the S Switch remote and the shielding hood, or must I buy them separately?

Both the S Switch wired remote and the detachable shielding hood are packed in the box with the monitor, stand, power cable, DisplayPort cable and HDMI cable, so no separate purchase is needed.
