Floor-marking tape for industrial aisles

Bertech BERST-2GW is a PVC safety tape with rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive in green and white stripes. It is supplied in a 54 ft roll at 6.5 mil thickness for floor or aisle marking in manufacturing and warehouse environments. The product is RoHS compliant and ships new from the manufacturer.

Adhesive holds under continuous traffic

The rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive is formulated to stay bonded on concrete and coated floors despite daily forklift and foot traffic. PVC construction resists abrasion and common cleaning chemicals without lifting at the edges. The 6.5 mil thickness provides a durable wear layer that maintains visibility over extended shifts.

Simple hand application, watch for surface prep

Unroll the tape, press firmly along the full length, and trim with a utility knife — no tools or heat required. The most common failure is poor adhesion on dusty, oily or damp concrete, so clean and dry the floor first. Green and white stripes meet OSHA colour conventions for hazard identification.

Questions about this item

How much heat or power does the 6.5 mil PVC tape generate when applied to a floor all day?

The tape is a passive PVC marking product with rubber-based adhesive and produces no heat or power draw once installed.

What surface preparation or tools must I already have for the adhesive to bond properly?

A clean, dry floor free of dust, oil or moisture is required; a hand roller or firm hand pressure ensures full contact.

Will the green-and-white stripe pattern stay visible next to older aisle markings that may have faded?

The high-contrast OSHA colours remain distinct against worn or yellowed lines, keeping hazard zones clearly separated.
