Outdoor Shielded Cat5e Cable

This 1000ft reel of Cat5e bulk cable uses 24AWG solid bare copper conductors with an overall aluminium foil shield. The UV-resistant OSP jacket is built for above-ground exposure to sunlight, snow and ice. Bandwidth is tested to 350MHz and the cable supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (4PPoE) up to 100W. It arrives pre-spooled in a tangle-free pull box for easier deployment.

Installers Running Above-Ground Links

The cable suits network installers pulling outdoor runs for cameras, access points or building-to-building links where UV resistance and EMI shielding matter. It supports 1GbE and 2.5GbE up to 328ft. Buyers needing direct-burial rating, indoor plenum or riser jackets, or stranded patch-cable flexibility should look at other cable types.

350MHz Tested Bandwidth

The 350MHz bandwidth figure is the key spec that confirms headroom for 2.5GBASE-T and PoE++ power delivery over the full 328ft channel. Fluke DSX-8000 testing and ANSI/TIA-568.2-E compliance back the performance claim. Without that verified bandwidth margin the cable could not guarantee 2.5GbE or 100W PoE++ at distance.
