Buyers replacing the original radio in a 350Z

The kit suits anyone fitting a single DIN head unit into the specified 350Z model years. It will not work for owners of other vehicles, different Z model years, or anyone planning a double DIN installation because the opening is sized for single DIN only.

Single DIN opening with pocket

The dash aperture accepts one single DIN chassis and provides a pocket below it. This fixed opening size is the specification that decides fitment; verify your head unit matches single DIN dimensions before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the BKNDK740 fit the factory opening of my 2003-2005 350Z without cutting the dashboard?

The kit is moulded for the 350Z factory opening so a single-DIN head unit installs without trimming the original dash structure.

How can I confirm the pocket and brackets are aligned correctly after I mount the BKNDK740?

The included pocket should sit flush with the dash trim and the head unit should slide in and lock without gaps or rattles.

Does the BKNDK740 come with a wiring harness and antenna adapter or must I buy them separately?

The box contains the dash kit, pocket and installation instructions only; a vehicle-specific wiring harness and antenna adapter are sold separately.
