Mobile Nest Easel for Collaborative Spaces

The Best-Rite 785P is a double-sided mobile easel built for classrooms, training rooms and offices that need a shared writing surface. Its porcelain steel whiteboard accepts magnets and dry-erase markers on both faces. The unit nests with identical easels to reduce storage footprint when not in use.

Porcelain Steel Surface and Fixed Dimensions

The writing area measures 40 3/4"H x 28 3/4"W per side, limiting the usable canvas to that rectangle. Marker compatibility is restricted to dry-erase formulations; other media may stain the porcelain coating. The easel height locks at either 65" or 72", offering only two working elevations. Overall depth is 24" and width is 34.75", so the unit requires a clear floor area of at least that footprint.

Powder-Coated Frame with Locking Casters

A platinum powder-coated steel frame resists corrosion and daily knocks. Accessory trays and flip-chart hooks are mounted on each side, keeping supplies within reach during presentations. A perforated storage box slides vertically to suit different item heights. Four 2" locking casters allow the easel to be rolled into position and secured firmly in place.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the porcelain steel or the Dura-Rite HPL surface?

Porcelain steel is magnetic and resists staining; Dura-Rite HPL is a non-magnetic high-pressure laminate. Both are dry-erase and double-sided.

What usable board space will I get from the 72-inch easel?

The writing surface measures 40 3/4 inches high by 28 3/4 inches wide on each side.

How do the 2-inch locking casters affect stability when the easel is set at 72 inches?

Locking casters keep the unit stationary during use; the easel can also be set lower at 65 inches for a wider stance.
