Bethesda Fallout 4 DLC for Xbox One

This downloadable add-on expands Fallout 4 with new settlement-building tools. Players receive conveyor belts, scaffolding kits, track kits and logic gates to automate production lines. The pack also adds elevators, greenhouse kits, warehouse kits, fireworks and armor racks. A digital code delivers the content directly to an Xbox One account.

Suits settlement builders wanting automation

The DLC targets players who enjoy designing complex factories and gadgets inside their settlements. It requires the base Fallout 4 game on Xbox One to function. Gamers who prefer quest-focused expansions or narrative content should look at other add-ons. Players without an Xbox One platform cannot redeem this code.

Requires Fallout 4 on Xbox One

The single deciding specification is the DRM platform: this code only works with the Xbox One version of Fallout 4. Owners of the PC or PlayStation versions cannot use it. The downloadable packaging means no physical disc is shipped. Verify platform ownership before purchase.

Questions about this item

What platform and account are required to redeem the digital code?

The code is locked to the Xbox One DRM system, so it must be redeemed on an Xbox One console or through the Xbox account associated with that platform.

Which base game must already be owned before this add-on can be installed?

Fallout 4 must be installed on the same Xbox One account; the Contraptions Workshop DLC adds conveyer belts, scaffolding kits, track kits, logic gates, elevators, greenhouse kits, warehouse kits, fireworks and armor racks to that game.

Will the add-on receive separate updates after the initial download?

Updates are delivered through the standard Xbox One game-update process; when Fallout 4 receives a patch, any Contraptions Workshop content included in that patch is applied automatically.
