Bethesda Softworks G7Q-00157 DOOM Eternal Standard Edition downloadable game

DOOM Eternal Standard Edition

DOOM Eternal Standard Edition is a downloadable first-person shooter for Xbox One published by Bethesda Softworks. You play as the DOOM Slayer returning to an Earth overrun by demonic forces. The game carries an ESRB Mature rating and is delivered as a digital code. It is built for players who want fast, aggressive combat against hordes of hellish enemies.

Upgrade from DOOM 2016

This title is the direct sequel to the 2016 DOOM release and moves the action across dimensions with expanded combat mechanics. The jump is worth it when you want new weapons such as the Super Shotgun with a Meat Hook attachment and abilities like the shoulder-mounted flamethrower and wrist-mounted DOOM Blade. It adds master levels and a deeper progression system for the Praetor Suit.

Campaign scope and replay limits

The single-player campaign spans multiple worlds and introduces new and classic demons to fight with an upgraded arsenal. Headroom comes from master levels like Cultist Base and the Slayer Threat Level progression that extends replay value. It runs out for players seeking a persistent multiplayer mode or extensive co-operative content beyond the core campaign.
