This pair of BFKK media converters links two RJ-45 copper ports to single-mode SC fibre at 1310 nm, extending a Gigabit or Fast Ethernet segment up to 20 km. Each unit accepts Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable up to 100 m and negotiates 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps automatically with full or half duplex and MDI/MDIX crossover. External power supplies and a manual are included, and the modules operate from 0°C to 60°C with 9 KB jumbo-frame support.
