22 Inch 16:10 Privacy Filter

This 22 inch privacy screen filter fits 16:10 widescreen monitors and laptops with an active area of 18.7 inches wide by 11.7 inches high. It is designed for professionals who handle confidential data in open offices, shared workspaces or public settings. The filter narrows the viewing angle so only the person directly in front of the screen can read the content.

Viewing Angle and Brightness Control

The filter darkens the display when viewed from an angle of about 30° to 60°, while keeping it bright for the centred user. Adjusting the monitor brightness shifts the effective privacy angle between those limits. It also filters out 96% UV and reduces blue light by 65% to lessen eye strain during long sessions.

Reversible Glossy or Matte Finish

A reversible design lets you choose a glossy side for clarity or a matte side to cut external glare. Both sides are anti-glare and scratch resistant. The package includes attachment strips and slide-mount tabs plus extra installation kits, and every unit is hand checked for 100% quality.

Questions about this item

Which screen size should I pick for a 16:10 display measuring 475 mm wide by 298 mm high?

Choose this filter if your active area is exactly 18.7 inches wide and 11.7 inches high; the 22 inch label refers to the diagonal of a 16:10 panel with those dimensions.

How dark does the screen look to someone beside me at 30 degrees?

At 30° the filter blacks out the view completely; at 60° it is still heavily darkened, and raising monitor brightness shifts the cutoff toward 30°.

Does the matte side cut glare from overhead lights while keeping the 96 % UV and 65 % blue-light reduction?

Yes — the reversible film gives a matte finish that reduces external glare and a glossy finish for clarity; both sides maintain the stated UV and blue-light filtering.
