24 Inch Privacy Screen Filter

The BFKK 24 inch 16:9 privacy screen filter attaches to a monitor to black out side views while keeping the screen clear straight on. It also reduces glare, UV and blue light. The filter measures 20 15/16 inches wide by 11 13/16 inches high with a 24 inch diagonal. It fits monitors from brands such as HP, Dell, Samsung, Lenovo, LG, Acer, ASUS and ViewSonic when the width and height match.

Who this suits and who it does not

It suits healthcare providers, mobile workers, commuters, students and business travelers who need to protect sensitive information in public spaces such as airplanes, subways and airports. It does not suit buyers who need a filter for a screen with different width or height measurements, or users who require the screen to be blocked from viewers directly behind them regardless of distance.

Capacity and headroom

The package includes one privacy filter, two sets of clear adhesive strips, two sets of slide mount tabs for raised bezels, and a microfiber cleaning cloth. Installation takes minutes using either adhesive strips or slide mount tabs. The product is Section 889 and TAA compliant. It provides privacy for side angles but runs out of effectiveness for viewers positioned directly behind the user.

Questions about this item

My monitor has a raised bezel — can I use the slide-mount tabs instead of adhesive strips?

Yes, the filter includes slide-mount tabs that attach to a raised bezel, letting you slide the privacy screen on and off without adhesive.

Will this filter fit a display that is 532 mm wide and 299 mm high?

The filter is built for a 20 15/16 inch by 11 13/16 inch active area, which matches those exact width and height measurements.

After installing, how can I confirm the filter is blocking side views as intended?

Look at the screen from a side angle — the display should appear dark, while the straight-on view remains clear.
