Low-Profile BA92 Boom Arm
The BA92 boom arm sits low on a desk and clamps to surfaces up to 2.36 inches thick. It supports microphones weighing up to 4.4 lbs using 3/8 inch or 5/8 inch threads. The design suits podcasting, streaming, broadcasting and recording sessions where desk space is limited.
Compatibility Checks
Verify your desk thickness does not exceed 2.2 inches for the C-clamp or grommet mount. Confirm your microphone uses a 3/8 inch or 5/8 inch thread and weighs no more than 4.4 lbs. Ensure you have enough clearance for the arm to extend from below your monitor without obstruction.
Build and Daily Use
Aerospace-grade aluminium construction provides a sturdy, professional feel. Built-in cable management channels keep cords hidden during 360 degree rotation and -90 to +90 degree tilt adjustments. The folding arm allows compact storage when not in use, and installation requires no extra tools.

Questions about this item
Does the BA92 boom arm include a microphone or shock mount, or are those bought separately?
The package contains only the boom arm with built-in cable channels, a C-clamp and a grommet mount. Microphone, shock mount and pop filter must be purchased separately.
How do I decide between the C-clamp and the grommet mount for my desk?
Use the C-clamp on desks up to 2.2 in thick without drilling; choose the grommet mount if you have a pre-drilled hole and want a permanent, flush installation.
Will the arm hold a 4.4 lb broadcast microphone at full horizontal reach without sagging?
Yes. The arm is rated for 4.4 lb and its aerospace-grade aluminium joints with -90° to +90° tilt and 360° rotation keep the mic steady at any extension.
