Questions about this item

Will the RP-SMA male connector need replacement after repeated mating cycles?

The RP-SMA male connector is a standard threaded interface rated for many mating cycles; normal router or card swaps will not wear it out.

What limits continuous operation of these 8dBi omni-directional antennas?

The antennas are passive with no active electronics, so sustained use is limited only by the radio's duty cycle and regulatory power limits.

Do the dual-band 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz antennas generate heat or noise when running all day?

Passive antennas produce no heat or noise themselves; any warmth comes from the radio module they are attached to.
