Console-Style Keycap for Cross Switches

This single yellow keycap fits mechanical keyboards that use a cross-stem switch. It is designed for enthusiasts who want a console-inspired accent on a specific key such as Escape or Enter. The package contains only the keycap; no keyboard or extra accessories are included.

Backlit Compatibility and Heat

The keycap is made to work with RGB backlit gaming keyboards so light passes through the legend area. Normal typing use produces no noticeable heat build-up and the plastic adds no audible noise to the switch. Power draw of the keyboard remains unchanged.

Removable Panel for Custom Display

A removable panel on the keycap lets you swap the displayed content without tools. The cross-stem mount snaps securely onto compatible switches and stays firm during daily typing. The smooth yellow surface resists fingerprints and cleans easily with a dry cloth.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Cross Switch keycap without damaging the stem?

Align the cross-shaped stem with the switch, press straight down until it clicks, and avoid twisting — the stem snaps if forced at an angle.

Will the yellow finish wear off or need replacing over time?

The colour is moulded through the plastic so it will not rub off; replacement is only needed if the stem cracks from repeated removal.

At what point does the backlight stop shining evenly through the keycap?

The semi-transparent walls transmit RGB light uniformly until heavy fingerprint buildup or deep scratches on the inner surface block the glow.
