Cellular Gateway for Mobile Networks

The BFKK MAX BR1 Pro is a CAT-20 LTE-A Pro gateway modem built for primary or backup connectivity over cellular networks. It delivers up to 2 Gbps downlink and 211 Mbps uplink speeds with redundant SIM slots for carrier failover. Wi-Fi 6 provides simultaneous dual-band wireless access for local devices. Integrated GPS adds location awareness for fleet or asset tracking deployments.

Suited for Fixed and Mobile Deployments

This unit suits installers who need a single-box router with 1 Gbps throughput, SpeedFusion bonding and PepVPN tunnels for secure multi-site links. The first year of PrimeCare subscription is included to unlock WAN smoothing and five VPN peers. Buyers who require fibre or cable WAN inputs, higher router throughput, or more than one Ethernet port should consider other platforms.

Deciding Specification: CAT-20 Modem with Dual SIM

The CAT-20 cellular modem with two SIM slots determines whether this gateway fits the link budget and redundancy plan. Peak cellular rates of 2 Gbps down and 211 Mbps up set the realistic WAN ceiling. One 2500M Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6 complete the local-side connectivity.

Questions about this item

Will the 2500M Ethernet port on this gateway work with my existing 1000M switch?

The 2500M WAN port auto-negotiates down to 1000M, so it will link with your current switch at gigabit speed.

How can I verify the LTE-A Pro modem is delivering the rated 2 Gbps downlink after installation?

Check the dashboard for a CAT 20 connection and run a speed test; the modem tops out at 2 Gbps downlink and 211 Mbps uplink.

Which antennas and power supply are included, and what must I source separately for the redundant SIM slots?

The box contains the BR1 Pro, a 12V2A power supply, four LTE antennas, two Wi-Fi dual-band antennas and one GPS antenna; only active SIM cards need to be added.
