BFKK Tableau Forensic SAS Bridge TK6U SiForce Bundle with Rugged Case

Field and lab forensic bridge

The Tableau TK6U SiForce bundle provides a hardware write-block bridge for SAS drives in field and lab environments. It connects to a host computer through a USB 3.0 link and delivers imaging speeds up to 200 MB/second. An internal DIP switch lets the operator toggle between read-only and read-write modes without a separate SAS controller card. The package includes a rugged transport case for device protection.

Build integration and host requirements

The bridge slots into an existing forensic workstation through a single USB 3.0 port and draws power from that connection. No additional controller cards, driver installations, or external power supplies are required to operate the unit. This frees up internal expansion slots and reduces cable count in mobile kits. The integrated LCD and six status LEDs report power, host link, device detection, write-block state, and activity at a glance.

Bundled case and mode-switch impact

The supplied rugged case shields the bridge during transport and storage, preserving port integrity between jobs. The user-switchable DIP switch changes the unit’s behaviour from strict write-block to full read-write, enabling drive wiping and formatting tasks on the same hardware. Backlit LCD feedback confirms the active mode and device details before imaging begins. This combination reduces the number of separate tools an examiner must carry.
