Tailored storage for Klein Scout Pro 3 kit

This hard-shell organiser is shaped to hold the Scout Pro 3 cable tester, VDV226-110 crimper, VDV427-300 punchdown tool and VDV500-123 tracer probe in dedicated grooves. A 25-hole insert secures both LanMap and CoaxMap kits while a separate round cut-out fits coax F-connectors. The box ships empty; no tools are included.

Check your tool list before ordering

Verify you own every Klein model referenced — VDV501-851, VDV500-123, VDV226-110 and VDV427-300 — because the interior moulding matches those exact profiles. If you use a different crimper, punchdown or tracer, the grooves will not align and the gear will shift in transit.

Rugged daily transport protection

Waterproof, dustproof and shockproof materials shield instruments from site moisture and drops. A smooth double zipper seals the main compartment while a zipped mesh pocket keeps remotes, jumpers, cables and batteries from spilling out. The sturdy handle and compact footprint make repeated job-site carries practical.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy the Klein Tools testers separately?

The package contains only the hard storage case with EVA inner support, mesh pocket, and handle. Klein Tools Scout Pro 3, VDV226-110 crimper, VDV427-300 punchdown tool, and VDV500-123 tracer probe are not included.

Which Klein Tools models does this case fit?

The case is tailored for Scout Pro 3 tester VDV501-851, modular crimper VDV226-110, impact punchdown VDV427-300, and tracer probe VDV500-123. It also holds CoaxMap kit, LanMap kit, Test-n-Map remote, RJ45 jumper cables, and F-connectors.

How does the 25-hole insert help when I carry the kit to a job site?

The 25 combined square and round holes secure both LanMap and CoaxMap kits, while a dedicated round hole holds F-connectors. The EVA grooves keep each tool from shifting, and the zippered mesh pocket traps cables and batteries so nothing rattles loose in transit.
