DOD Military CAC Reader

The BFKK USB-C smart-card reader is built for DOD military and government personnel who need secure login with Common Access Cards. It supports ISO7816 Class A, B and C cards and works with ActivClient, AKO, OWA and other federal portals. The gloss-black finish adds a professional look for office or field use.

Windows and Mac Compatibility

The reader runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions as well as on Mac OS X. It handles standard CAC authentication tasks such as DTS, DISA email and Pure Edge Viewer without extra drivers. Buyers who need support for newer operating systems or non-CAC smart cards should verify compatibility before purchase.

Bus-Powered USB-C Operation

Power comes directly from the USB-C port so no external supply is required and cable clutter stays minimal. The EMS-ready design meets military electromagnetic standards for reliable operation in secure facilities. Users who require a ruggedised housing or extended temperature rating will need a different device.
