Questions about this item

Does the VE017-H set include the G1 gateway for remote app control, or must it be bought separately?

The lock works with the KK Home app, but the G1 gateway required for full remote access and voice commands is sold separately.

How do the five unlock methods differ for daily use on the VE017-H?

You can unlock by fingerprint, keypad code, app, included fobs, or the two mechanical keys, giving a backup option for every situation.

What does the IP55 rating mean for the VE017-H once it is mounted on an exterior door?

It certifies protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, so rain and splashes will not damage the electronics.
