Product identity

The BHP 15-dy1020nr is a 15.6-inch HD touchscreen laptop built around a 10th Generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4-2666 memory and a 512 GB NVMe solid-state drive. The micro-edge bezel design keeps the chassis thin and portable for everyday productivity.

Sustained workload behaviour

The dual-core processor runs at a 1.2 GHz base frequency and can reach 3.4 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology for burst performance. Memory is not upgradable, so multitasking capacity remains fixed at 8 GB. The NVMe drive provides fast boot times and quick file transfers during extended work sessions.

Thermals noise and power

Battery life reaches up to 12 hours and 30 minutes in mixed usage, up to 10 hours during video playback, and up to 7 hours and 45 minutes while wireless streaming. The system supports rapid charging from 0 to 50 percent in approximately 45 minutes. BIOS recovery features protect local storage and automatically resolve boot issues.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the Core i5-1035G1 get when the laptop runs all day?

The dual-core i5-1035G1 has a 1.2 GHz base frequency and boosts to 3.4 GHz; under sustained load the fan spins up but the thin chassis keeps surface temperatures moderate for typical office workloads.

What must I already own to use the 512 GB NVMe drive and 8 GB DDR4 memory immediately?

Nothing extra is required — the 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state drive and 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM are factory-installed and the memory is not upgradable.

Will my older USB-A peripherals and HDMI monitor work with this 15.6-inch touchscreen model?

The laptop includes standard USB-A ports and an HDMI output, so existing mice, keyboards, external drives and 1080p monitors connect without adapters.
