Heavy-Duty Shower Chair

The Big John BJBATH shower chair supports up to 700 pounds with an aluminum frame and plastic components. Adjustable legs move from 17 to 21 inches in one-inch steps. The white finish resists water and corrosion for bathroom use.

Who This Suits

People who need a stable seat with a high weight limit and simple height changes will find it practical. Buyers who want a chair with arms, a backrest, or a different seat width should look elsewhere.

Assembly and Fit

The chair ships in one piece and assembles without tools in minutes. Non-slip feet keep it steady on wet surfaces. Measure the shower floor to confirm the 20 by 12 inch footprint fits before ordering.

Questions about this item

What floor surface do the 20" x 12" slip-resistant feet need to grip securely?

The non-slip feet work on any flat shower or tub floor — tile, acrylic, fibreglass or textured surfaces — as long as the area is clean and level.

Will the aluminium frame and plastic seat tolerate the heat and humidity of a bathroom used daily?

Yes — the chair is water-resistant, corrosion-resistant and weather-resistant, so daily shower exposure will not degrade the aluminium or plastic components.

How can I confirm the chair is safely locked at my chosen height between 17" and 21"?

Each leg has a push-button that clicks audibly into one of the 1" increment holes; press down firmly and listen for the click, then verify all four legs show the same hole number.
