Micro-ATX board with AMD B450 chipset, four DDR4 slots, one M.2 slot, 7.1+2 audio and USB 3.0 header
The Biostar B450GT3 is a micro ATX motherboard built around the AMD B450 chipset and the AM4 socket. It accepts DDR4 memory across four DIMM slots and provides a single M.2 slot for fast storage. The board targets builders who want a compact foundation for a mainstream desktop without paying for full-size ATX features. It does not suit buyers who need multiple M.2 drives or more than four memory slots.
A 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS connector feed the board, while two chassis fan headers and a CPU fan header handle case airflow. One USB 3.0 front-panel header and two USB 2.0 headers connect the case front I/O, and an SPDIF output is available for digital audio. The layout frees up space in smaller cases but leaves no room for a second graphics card or additional full-length expansion cards.
The chipset and VRM area are rated for a 105 W thermal design power, so typical mid-range processors run within spec without extra cooling. Onboard monitoring reports CPU temperature and fan speeds for software control. With no large heatsinks or heatpipes listed, the board relies on case airflow to keep temperatures steady during everyday workloads.

The board is rated for 105 W TDP, so a processor drawing more than that continuously will hit the thermal ceiling first.
With only a 4-pin EPS connector and no heatsink mentioned, the VRMs can run warm and the chassis fans will spin up to compensate.
You need DDR4 DIMM modules; the board provides four slots and no other memory type is supported.
