24-Port CAT6 Protected Panel

The Black Box CAT6 Protected Panel provides 24 shielded RJ-45 ports in a 2U rack-mountable enclosure. It fits a standard 19-inch rack and measures 3.5 inches high by 19 inches wide by 1.4 inches deep. The unit weighs approximately 2.43 lb and carries a 10-year limited warranty.

Suited for structured cabling installs

This panel suits installers terminating CAT6 horizontal cabling to a rack-mounted patching point. The protected design shields connections in dense 19-inch racks. It does not suit networks requiring active switching, routing or Power over Ethernet functions. Buyers needing managed features should look at active switches instead.

24 shielded RJ-45 ports in 2U

The single specification that decides fit is the 24-port count in a 2U form factor. Verify your rack has 3.5 inches of vertical space and that your patch cords match the shielded RJ-45 interface. The 10-year warranty covers the passive hardware for the installation lifecycle.
