Panel-Mount CAT6 Couplers for Custom Builds

These shielded silver couplers mount into equipment panels and faceplates using an included bezel and snap fitting. Each unit functions as a keystone jack that accepts standard RJ-45 plugs on both sides. The design allows installers to swap snap fittings if the application changes. They maintain backward compatibility with CAT5e cabling.

Shielded Housing Handles Sustained Throughput

The metal shielding around each coupler preserves signal integrity when traffic runs continuously at CAT6 rates. Heat from adjacent electronics does not degrade the contact surfaces because the housing acts as a grounded barrier. Installers can chain multiple units in a patch panel without introducing crosstalk that would appear only under prolonged load. The snap-fit mechanism stays secure after repeated mating cycles.

Questions about this item

Does the shielded metal housing on the CAT6 RJ-45 panel-mount coupler reduce electrical noise in a busy rack?

The shielded silver housing and CAT6 rating help protect signal integrity from electromagnetic interference when the coupler is mounted in a panel and running continuously.

What panel cut-out size must my existing faceplate have to accept the snap-in bezel on this coupler?

The coupler uses a standard keystone snap fitting, so it fits any faceplate or panel cut to the universal keystone dimensions.
