28-Port Managed Gigabit Switch

The Black Box LPB3028A is a fully managed Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for enterprise networks that need both copper and fibre uplinks. It delivers 10/100/1000BASE-T ports alongside 1G/10G SFP+ ports for flexible high-speed connectivity.

Check Uplink Modules and Management Access

Verify that your existing SFP+ transceivers match the 1G or 10G speeds required for the uplink ports. Confirm your team can administer the switch through the web GUI, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH or Telnet with SSH security before deployment.

Replaces Unmanaged or Layer 2 Only Switches

This unit upgrades networks that currently rely on unmanaged switches or lack VLAN and QoS capabilities. The jump is worth it when you need port-based, 802.1Q tag-based or MAC-based VLAN segmentation plus 802.1p prioritisation for VoIP and video traffic.
