Cable purpose and audience

This VGA video cable connects a graphics source to a display using a male-to-female configuration. The ferrite core is designed to suppress electromagnetic interference on the signal path. It suits users extending an existing VGA link in office or legacy AV setups. Buyers who need digital interfaces such as HDMI or DisplayPort cannot use this cable.

Sustained signal behaviour

The 20-ft (6.0-m) length carries analogue video over copper conductors with the ferrite core fitted to reduce noise pickup during continuous operation. Signal integrity is maintained for typical desktop resolutions across this distance. The cable does not incorporate active equalisation or signal boosting for longer runs.

Thermals noise and power

Passive copper construction means the cable draws no external power and generates no heat or audible noise in normal use. The beige jacket and moulded connectors are rated for standard indoor environments. No active cooling or power supply is required for operation.

Questions about this item

Will the ferrite core on this 20-Ft VGA cable prevent interference during all-day use?

The integrated ferrite core suppresses high-frequency noise on the signal lines, helping maintain a stable picture during continuous operation.

What connector gender does the source device need to accept this Male/Female VGA cable?

The cable has a male connector on one end and a female connector on the other, so the source must provide a female VGA port to receive the male plug.

Can this 20-Ft VGA extension reach a monitor that is 6.0 metres away from an older graphics card?

At 20-Ft (6.0-M) the cable spans the full distance, and the standard VGA pinout ensures compatibility with legacy graphics cards that have a female VGA output.
