This cable links a VGA and USB computer to a Black Box ServSwitch Secure KVM switch using a single 6 ft trunk. It carries video, keyboard, mouse and a separate USB CAC data path for smart-card authentication. The HD-26 male connector mates with the switch while the DB-15 and USB-A male ends plug into the host. It suits agencies that mandate NIAP-listed switching hardware.

One cable replaces three separate runs

The 14-pin DB-15 handles analog video, one USB-A carries keyboard and mouse, and a second USB-A carries CAC reader data. All signals share the 6 ft length so slack is identical on every leg. The HD-26 trunk is pinned for the SW2006A, SW2009A, SW4006A and SW4009A Secure switches; other KVMs with different pin-outs will not work. No audio or USB 2.0 hub channels are provided.

Iron-clad jacket and fixed pin-out

The cable uses an iron-based jacket rated tangle-free and RoHS compliant, so it resists crushing under raised floors and stays flexible in tight cable trays. Connectors are moulded male-to-male with no gender changers to lose. The HD-26 end locks with thumbscrews on the switch; the DB-15 and USB-A ends rely on friction fit.
