Network coupler for Cat6 shielded runs
The Black Box FM608 joins two Cat6 shielded cables with straight-through pin wiring. It suits installers who need an inline connection without re-terminating existing links.
Replaces a punch-down block or wall jack
When a permanent jack is impractical or a temporary link is required, this coupler provides a faster alternative. The jump is worth it for moves, adds and changes where re-punching would add labour time.
Fits into a structured cabling chain
The unit sits between two terminated Cat6 patch leads and maintains shielding continuity across the joint. It frees up rack space compared with a full patch panel for simple extensions.
