High-Density Adapter Panel

The Black Box JPM468C is a high-density adapter panel designed for network installers who need organised fibre termination in standard enclosures. It provides twelve LC duplex ports in a single LGX-footprint module that snaps into compatible cabinets and patch panels.

LGX Footprint Compatibility

The panel conforms to the industry-standard LGX footprint, so it fits only enclosures, cabinets and patch panels that accept that form factor. Installers must verify their hardware uses the LGX standard before ordering, because non-LGX chassis will not accept the module.

Twelve LC Duplex Ports

The unit delivers twelve LC duplex ports, giving 10-GbE OM3/OM4 connectivity across a compact panel. This density suits links that stay within the OM3/OM4 reach; longer single-mode runs or higher port counts would require additional panels or different hardware.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 12-port LC duplex panel or a different port count for my LGX enclosure?

The JPM468C occupies one LGX panel slot and provides exactly twelve LC duplex ports, so choose it when you need twelve fibre connections in that single slot.

What does the 10-GbE rating mean when the panel is installed in a live rack?

The 10-GbE rating shows the panel supports OM3 and OM4 fibre at ten gigabits per second, so each LC duplex link can carry a 10-GbE signal without panel-induced loss.

Does the LGX footprint limit the panel to Black Box enclosures only?

No, the LGX footprint is an industry standard, so the panel snaps into any standard fibre enclosure, cabinet or patch panel that accepts LGX modules.
