GigaTrue 550 Cat6 bulk cable

Black Boxwork Services EYN870A-PB-1000 is a Category 6 network cable supplied as a 1000 ft pull-box. The blue PVC jacket is flame-retardant and the insulation is polyolefin. Each master spool is tested for electrical performance and the sheath is marked in 60 cm increments for easy measurement.

Installers running Gigabit or WideBand Ethernet

The cable suits structured wiring projects that need verified Cat6 performance up to 550 MHz. It is not suited for patch-cord use because both ends are bare wire and require termination. Buyers who want a ready-made patch cable with factory-fitted connectors should choose a different product.

550 MHz rated bandwidth

The GigaTrue 550 designation confirms the cable meets Category 6 electrical specifications at frequencies up to 550 MHz. This single figure determines whether the link will support the intended Gigabit or WideBand Ethernet application.
