Smart WiFi In-Wall Outlet

This smart wall outlet replaces a standard receptacle and connects to the BN-LINK Smart app for smartphone control. It provides two individually controlled sockets rated at 120 volts and 20 amps for a total of 3600 watts. The unit supports only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks and requires a neutral wire for installation. It is designed for indoor commercial or residential use.

Build Integration

The switch mounts directly into a standard wall box and needs a neutral wire connection to power its radio and relay circuitry. Each of the two outlets can be scheduled independently, freeing the user from manually toggling plugged-in loads. Voice commands through Alexa or Google Assistant replace physical switching for hands-free operation.

App and Voice Features

The BN-LINK Smart app enables remote on/off control, countdown timers and recurring schedules for each socket from any location. Alexa and Google Assistant integration adds voice activation without additional hubs. These software tools turn ordinary lamps, fans or appliances into automated devices while tracking no energy data beyond the scheduled runtime.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum continuous load the 20 A / 3600 W outlet can handle without tripping?

The switch is rated for 20 amps and 3600 watts at 120 volts, so that is the sustained limit for each outlet.

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The device has no fan and runs silently; normal warmth may occur at high loads but no active cooling is present.

What wiring must already exist in the wall box for this switch to function?

A neutral wire is required in the box, along with 120 V line and load conductors, to power the Wi-Fi radio and relays.
