Rechargeable 400-lumen headlamp

The Black Diamond Spot 400-R delivers up to 400 lumens with a 100-meter beam for hiking, camping and night running. An integrated 1500 mAh lithium-ion cell removes the need for disposable batteries. The IP67-rated housing withstands submersion at 1.0 metre for 30 minutes. A simple button cycles through multiple modes including red night vision.

Micro-USB charging and lock mode

The supplied micro-USB cable recharges the built-in battery so no separate charger is required. Brightness Memory returns the light to the last used level while PowerTap gives quick access to maximum output. A digital lockout prevents accidental activation inside a pack. Red LED preserves night vision during camp tasks or map reading.

Runtime limits at each setting

High mode runs for 4 hours, medium for 8 hours and low for up to 225 hours. Beam distance drops as output decreases so close-range work benefits from lower settings. Water may enter the battery compartment if submerged; the unit must be dried fully before reuse. The compact 5.25 × 1.66 inch body weighs 0.1 kilogram.
