The Blackmagic Design 2110 IP Converter 3x3G translates three independent 3G-SDI channels to and from a single 10G Ethernet link using SMPTE 2110 standards. It is built for broadcast engineers who need to integrate existing SDI cameras, switchers or recorders into an IP-based production backbone without replacing legacy gear.

Bandwidth And Format Limits

The 10G Ethernet port carries up to three simultaneous 1080p60 streams, so total payload cannot exceed that pipe. Supported SDI standards are SMPTE 259M, 292M and 424M; resolutions above 1080p60 or formats outside those three specifications will not pass. Each channel has dedicated input and output BNCs with loop-through on the input side.

Verify your network switch provides a 10G port with PTP support for SMPTE 2110-21 traffic shaping.
