Portable Color Grading Panel

The Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel is a compact hardware controller built for colorists and editors who need professional grading tools in a form factor that fits on-set, in broadcast trucks or alongside a laptop. It delivers tactile control over primary corrections without requiring a full-sized suite.

Three Weighted Trackballs and Twelve Precision Knobs

Three high-resolution weighted trackballs and 12 precision-machined control knobs provide direct, muscle-memory access to lift, gamma, gain and offset adjustments. This specific control layout is the deciding factor for operators who rely on physical trackballs rather than a mouse or tablet for grading speed and accuracy.

Eighteen Dedicated Keys for Grading and Playback

Eighteen dedicated keys on the right side place the most-used grading functions and transport controls at your fingertips, letting you switch modes, toggle viewers and navigate timelines without leaving the panel. The portable design runs out of reach when a project demands the extra trackball rings, additional soft keys or larger display integration found on full-size advanced panels.

Questions about this item

How do the three weighted trackballs behave when I am grading on a laptop in the field?

The three high-resolution weighted trackballs give tactile, precise control over lift, gamma and gain so you can make fine primary colour adjustments without a full-size panel.

What does the USB connection limit in a live grading session?

The panel connects over USB, so cable length and the host computer's port power determine how far you can sit from the workstation while grading.

What desk space should I clear for the Micro Panel in a broadcast truck?

The compact chassis fits in a standard equipment rack or on a small cart shelf, leaving room for a laptop and monitor beside it.
