Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2

The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 is a compact digital cinema camera built around a Super 35 sensor. It targets independent filmmakers and content creators who need high-resolution capture with professional audio inputs and flexible recording options in a portable form factor.

Thermals noise and power

The camera operates from a larger NP-F570 battery rated at 3350 mAh for extended shooting sessions. Its carbon fibre polycarbonate composite body passively dissipates heat during continuous recording. No active cooling fans are present, so operation remains silent on set.

Super 35 6144 x 3456 sensor

The 6144 by 3456 sensor delivers 13 stops of dynamic range with dual native ISO up to 25600 for clean low-light footage. It records standard open file formats directly to USB-C disks and accepts a wide range of EF lenses via the native mount. Buyers who require built-in electronic viewfinders or internal ND filters should consider other models.
