SKU CH-HF0Z-WQ3V7

  • 4 SDI inputs with standards converters and re-sync ensure flexible camera connections
  • Built-in hardware streaming engine enables direct live streaming via ethernet
  • Direct recording of streaming data to USB flash disks simplifies content capture
  • Multiple disks recording via a USB hub provides extended storage capacity
  • Live event editing to multiple recording streams simultaneously streamlines multi-cam post-production

Portable live production switcher

The ATEM SDI Pro ISO is a compact switcher built for broadcasters and streamers who need four 3G-SDI inputs with automatic standards conversion and re-sync. It includes a hardware streaming engine, direct USB recording of up to five simultaneous streams, and a Fairlight audio mixer with compressor, limiter and parametric EQ per input.

Connection and power check

Verify that your cameras and sources output 3G-SDI and that you have an Ethernet link for the streaming engine. The USB port accepts flash disks or a hub for multi-disk recording and also serves as a webcam output for computer-based conferencing. Ensure your mounting surface supports the unit and that a suitable power source is available.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The fanless chassis runs silently in typical indoor environments while handling continuous multi-stream encoding and recording. Power consumption stays modest for a portable production device, and the aluminium enclosure dissipates heat without audible noise during extended live events.

Questions about this item

Does the box include everything needed to connect the four SDI cameras and start streaming, or must I buy SDI cables separately?

The package contains the ATEM SDI Pro ISO switcher and a 6' HDMI 2.0 cable with Ethernet. SDI cables for the four inputs are not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I decide between the ATEM SDI Pro ISO and other models in the ATEM SDI family?

The Pro ISO adds a built-in hardware streaming engine, direct recording to USB flash disks, and simultaneous ISO recording of all inputs for multi-cam editing — features not on the base ATEM SDI model.

What does the built-in streaming engine actually deliver when the switcher is connected to a network?

It streams live program video directly over Ethernet without a computer, while simultaneously recording up to five video streams — program plus clean feeds of every input — to attached USB storage.
