The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini CONVNTRM/MA/OPTH converts 12G-SDI optical fiber and copper signals to HDMI 2.0. It targets broadcast engineers and post-production facilities that need to monitor professional SDI sources on consumer displays or projectors.

Single-mode LC optical input at 1310 nm

The decisive specification is the single-mode LC optical receiver operating at 1310 nanometer wavelength. It accepts 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI level B, HD-SDI and SD-SDI with automatic rate detection. Multi-mode fiber or a different wavelength will not work.

Rack-mount or desktop with USB and Ethernet control

The half-rack unit measures 1.75 by 5.51 by 6.69 inches and includes a built-in 90 to 240 volt AC supply with IEC C14 inlet. Settings are adjusted via mini switches, the free USB and Ethernet utility, or an optional front panel. Installers must supply their own IEC power cable.
