A 16GB dual-channel kit of two 8GB DDR3L SO-DIMM modules running at 1600MHz with CL11 latency and 1.35V/1.5V operation
This 16 GB DDR3L kit contains two 8 GB SO-DIMM modules that run at 1600 MHz with CL11 latency. It is built for notebooks that accept 204-pin DDR3 memory and operates at either 1.35 V or 1.5 V. The unbuffered non-ECC design suits mainstream laptop sockets.
The dual-channel pair delivers 16 GB total, giving comfortable headroom for multitasking, large browser sessions and light content creation on compatible machines. Systems limited to 8 GB per slot or a 16 GB ceiling will reach their maximum with this kit. Workloads that demand more than 16 GB or require ECC error correction cannot be satisfied.
The kit replaces a single 8 GB stick or a mismatched pair to enable dual-channel bandwidth on DDR3 platforms. The jump is worth it when the laptop chipset supports 1600 MT/s and the BIOS recognises low-density 512x8 chips. Machines locked to lower speeds, higher voltages or proprietary module layouts will not benefit.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The modules operate at either 1.35 V or 1.5 V, so they will run at the higher voltage in a standard DDR3 slot.
Check the memory speed and channel mode in the BIOS or with a system-information tool such as CPU-Z.
Only the two modules are supplied, each in an anti-static bag; no heatspreaders or extra accessories are included.
