PowerCon Cable for Professional Audio

The Blizzard Lighting PWC 25/14 is a 25ft interconnect cable built for DJ and pro audio rigs. It carries mains power between equipment using locking powerCON-compatible plugs. Heavy-duty 14-gauge conductors reduce voltage drop over the full length. UL recognised components support reliable operation in demanding stage environments.

Male Blue to Male White Connectors

One end terminates in a blue powerCON-compatible plug, the other in a white plug, matching the standard inlet and outlet colour coding on many fixtures. The three-conductor design includes line, neutral and pre-mating ground contacts for safe engagement. Locking shells prevent accidental disconnection during a performance. This pin-out suits devices wired for the same colour scheme.

Check Your Fixture Power Ports Before Ordering

Verify that your equipment accepts powerCON-compatible connectors with blue and white keying. Confirm the required cable length reaches between your power distribution and the furthest fixture. Ensure the 14-gauge rating meets the current draw of the connected load. This cable is not suited for devices needing a different connector gender or pin configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 14-gauge conductors or powerCON connectors need replacement after repeated gigs?

The heavy-duty 14-gauge wire resists wear better than thinner cables, and the locking powerCON-compatible plugs with premating ground contacts are built for frequent connect and disconnect cycles.

What limits continuous current draw on this 25-foot run?

The 14-gauge conductor cross-section sets the ampacity ceiling, so sustained loads must stay within the cable's rated capacity to avoid voltage drop or overheating.

Does the cable run warm or add noticeable heat to a rack after all-day use?

UL recognised components and 14-gauge construction keep resistance low, so the cable stays cool under normal rated loads even during extended operation.
