Iron conduit outlet body for 1 in trade size

The Bluekote ABB C37 is a C-style conduit outlet body made from iron with a zinc-plated and powder-coated finish. It accepts IMC and RMC conduit with a 1 in trade size and provides a 90-degree threaded connection. The flat back design allows direct mounting on surfaces where space is limited.

10.6 cu in body capacity determines wire fill

The internal volume of 10.6 cu in sets the maximum number of conductors allowed by code. Two threaded hubs and a flat back configure the unit for straight pull or splice access in a 90-degree orientation. Compatible cover 370F and gasket are included to seal the enclosure.

Included cover and gasket complete the installation

Supplied cover 370F and gasket eliminate the need to source sealing components separately. The gray powder-coated iron resists corrosion in dry or damp locations. No hazardous-location rating is claimed, so the fitting suits general-purpose commercial or industrial runs.

Questions about this item

How much space does the 10.6 cu in body capacity actually give for wire splices inside the box?

The 10.6 cubic-inch body provides enough volume for splicing conductors in a 1-inch conduit run while staying within NEC fill limits.

What does the threaded hub connection mean for installation on IMC or RMC conduit?

The 1-inch threaded hubs accept standard IMC or RMC conduit directly, creating a 90-degree turn without extra fittings.

Will the flat-back design and 1.96 lb weight require special mounting support?

The flat back mounts flush to a surface using standard conduit straps or clamps rated for 1-inch trade size.
